A Product Rave: Lush Tea Tree Water Toner

Just a quick post this afternoon about one of my favourite products at the moment. It looks unimpressive and smells a bit strange (like medication, in a way), but this toner is great! My skin has never looked this nice and the only thing I've done differently is add this in my routine. My breakouts are less frequent (from 5-7 in a week to 1-3), it isn't drying and it doesn't sting. It's quite pricy, I paid about $10 (incl. tax) for the little bottle and it barely lasted a month. The bigger bottle is a better value so I'll be getting that in the next couple of days. I just wasn't sure if I would like it and opted for the small bottle to start.

Anyways, if you are on the market for a new toner and you have combination-oily, acne-prone skin like me, give this a try! I spray it on a cotton pad and wipe it on my face, or sometimes I spray it directly on my face after cleansing and apply moisturizer right away and it just glides on... sometimes I do both. I have found that my skin is significantly more balanced and not as extremely oily in spots; any dry flaky parts just go away after I apply this.

Have you ever tried this? Please feel free to share below.

  3. I have posted a blog about my new skin care routine using all Lush products. I have switched over to using Lush about 2.5 weeks ago and have already noticed a huge difference. I love the tea tree water and use it every day. I cleans, tone and moisturize every night. In the morning I tone and moisturize and my skin looks great!! I am soooo happy with this product and definately recommend it to everyone ;)

  4. I haven't tried this product, but I do dab a bit of TTO on blemishes as soon as they come up. I may try this. It would definitely be a little more convenient!

  6. I did not know you shard my love for Lush! I can't walk by it without stopping and smelling everything. Do you LOVE their massage bars? I use them like lotion...

I know you always talk about your oily skin...have you ever considered the Guinot products from Estetica? I started using the whole line about 6 months ago and I havent broken out since, it's crazy! They're balancing moisturizer helps with the oil and the cream cleanser feels like heaven on my sensitive skin! I also LOVEEEE their exfolient. It goes on as thick gel and turns liquid leaving your face all dewey and pretty! I can get some samples for you if you want to try it....just to see :)

  11. I'm using it for a year now, and you are right. I've got pimples on my face and have been consulting with derma for 3 years now. The pimples remain though monthly cleaning prevents it from adding more. But when I've tried using this tea tree toner, the pimples just disappeared. - juicy daydreamer
