Chanel Beauty Wishlist

My Chanel fangirl phase continues with an ever-growing list of beauty products of theirs that I am just dying to try.

Here's what's been on my mind lately:

Aragonite Glossimer

I've never tried a Chanel lipgloss before (shocking, I know) and this seems to be getting a lot of positive reviews and it just looks so beautiful - I'm dying to check it out! It's part of their new spring 2011 collection and seems to be the perfect gloss to layer on top of lipsticks.
Any other Chanel Glossimer recommendations for me?

Loose Powder

I blame Pixiwoo for this one, they use it in many of their videos paired with Chanel foundations and the finish is always so nice and natural. I'm excited to use up my Laura Mericer translucent loose powder (which is nothing to rave about, really) and give this a try!

Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation

Seems like it would be the perfect lightweight foundation for the summer! Again I'm waiting to use up one of my 3 foundations I have on rotation right now before I give this a try :)

Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzer

Last but not least - perhaps the product I've been wanting to try or the longest... as soon as my NARS Laguna (again, a product that leaves much to be desired) runs out I am speeding to Chanel and buying this baby. I have to try it!

Have you had any experiences with any of the products I mentioned? What's on your Chanel beauty wishlist?

Hope you all have a great weekend :)

- Sandra

  1. if you have to get a gloss, get the rouge pure in Genie, absolutely amazing glosses and luxurious. I love Chanel makeup as well, the eyeshadows are great and also the lipsticks. I own rouge coco in Muse and it's one of my favourite shades.

  3. Ahh Pixiwoo has been been the root of more than a few of my cosmetic wants. I have been wanting to try out the Soleil Tan De Chanel for ages, but I'm a little wary of the color. It seems whenever I see swatches it comes out looking orange! But in tutorials it doesn't... I look forward to a review from you! xox

  9. I love their glosses!! I have a gazillion of them and there is a lot of it in that little tube, so for me it lasts for several months. I am not so found of their powder though. It makes my skin superdry... and my skin tends to get oily.

  13. Have you heard of the new Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks that are coming out in March? "Boy" is out already and I love how moisturizing it is, it feels like a lip balm! I can't wait to check out other colors.
I just got Inimitable Intense mascara the other day and I quite like it. I also agree with -beautysource, I'm still in love with Bikini Peach, I don't ever want to run out of it!

I have the Bronze Universel it's pretty great! I'm dying to try their Quadra and Ombre Essentielle in Taupe Grisé and Vert Khaki!
I have one glossimer in 04 ( a red). It seems to be the only gloss I like.

I hate that it's so expensive though! Yet mostly so worth it!

  19. Hey Sandra! I am a bit of a Chanelphile too, aah everything about their stuff is so luxe and my beautiful! I got a bunch of things from the Spring collection one of which was the Aragonite glossimer and it is gorgeous! Glossimers in general are one of my favorite lipglosses because of the way they feel on the lips and their multi-dimensional sparkle. The loose powder is perfection and will last you a looooong time, so totally worth it. I've never tried their cream bronzer but love their blushes for a lit from within glowy quality. While you check out the Spring collection, have a look at the Ombre Perlees palette: a cream shadow quint that is out of this world! The most unique finish ever! Have fun Chanel shopping! :)

  20. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua has become one of my favourite foundation to date. It gives me a natural looking glow and it lasts all day, though it does get slightly oily on my t-zone after 6-8 hours (which isn't a big issue). I would definitely consider buying this foundation again. I prefer it over the Vitalumiere for everyday wear.
