February Wishlist Roundup

The last day of February has arrived! I really enjoyed doing one post a day the entire month and while I can't promise the same thing for March, I am still very inspired and have quite a few upcoming posts in mind that I hope are useful and enjoyable.

I figured a good way to end this month's posts would be to do a little "round-up" of all the small wish list posts I sneaked in this month and cross out things that I have purchased or things that I have changed my mind on after seeing things in person/getting bad feedback on from readers.

1. La Roche Posay Effaclar K Lotion - haven't bought this yet, still working on another lotion I want to use up first!
2. Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover - bought it, and really like it
3. Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzer - once NARS Laguna is finished, this is for sure getting purchased
4. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua
5. Estee Lauder Double Wear can't get a proper colour match for the life of me, maybe will try again in the summer
6. Clarins Instant Lip Perfector - definitely buying this, so many of you rave about it! Just waiting to use my Shoppers Optimum points for it ;)
7. Tom Ford Private Blend Lipstick - I bought it this weekend
8. Chanel Loose Powder - waiting to use up my Laura Mercier loose powder before I buy
9. Chanel Mystic Eyes Quad - tested it out in the store and while the colours are beautiful, it's nothing I don't own already, and pigmentation was just OK. Not worth the price.
10. MAC blush - got so many great Peach recommendations and the majority went to the colour Melba so that will be my next MAC blush.
11. Dior Matte Bronzer or Guerlain Teracotta 4 Seasons - not sure which one of the two I will get but when I use up my Benefit Hoola, I will let you know which one I decide on
12. Chanel Aragonite Gloss - it's beautiful, but I honestly don't think I'd use it that much

and I have one thing to add to my list:
13. Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Illuminating Fluid
Tried this out over the weekend after my good friend kept raving about it and I fell in love! Perfect highlighter for my skin tone, blends in effortlessly and doesn't highlight any large pores. The colour isn't too cool or too orange, just the perfect glowy shade. A trip to Chanel is most definitely required ASAP.

  1. You have mentioned so many products that I want!

Just wanted to say though that I bought the K lotion, Duo and A.I. from La Roche Posay and if you already have the A.I. and Duo, you don't need the K. I'm just using it up for the sake of it but I didn't find it that amazing.

I know you have used Duo, wondered why you wanted to buy K?

  2. Just wanted to try out K for a change, my Duo is almost running out and I don't want my skin to get used to it too much or else it will stop working!

  3. ahh i want all of these! must get some chanel products and also a new MAC blush, probably will get Melba as well as I want a peach one too. xo.

  4. I really want to get either the chanel loose powder or laura mercier one, so i cant wait until you can compare both to help me decide.

  5. Your list is dangerous for many great ideas!

  6. I'll be buying the Chanel bronzer as soon as I finish my P10P.

As well as about another 50 products... haha!

  7. I make a wish list too...and then I get obbessed with buying them all as soon as possible. hehe. x

  8. i always enjoy seeing your wishlists :)

I got Chanel vitalumiere aqua and love it! The texture is amazing. Except the shade i got is a bit dark on me so I gotta wait till i'm tanner to use it without bronzer. I'm NW25 and got B30, prob shoulda gone with B20

  9. Love the idea of showing your wishlist! I have one too! :)

  10. I couldnt get a proper match with Double wear either..and I don't think I ever will :(
My skin is just too yellow. Double wear is either pinkish or really neutral on me.
But last week, I experimented a little and mixed my Nars Sheer Glow in Stromboli and some Double Wear sample ( Shell Beige) I got from the counter awhile back and OMG, I got my perfect match! And not only that, the foundation concoction lasted till I took it off.
Try mixing DB foundation with your Nars Sheer Glow, maybe? Just a suggestion :)

  11. Oh my, the Soleil Tan de Chanel is amazing. I went to my local Chanel counter this past weekend see if any of their foundations worked well with my skin, and she did my whole face and applied this product. I could not stop raving about it to everyone! My husband even commented on how great it looked. I'd definitely make this purchase if I was you! Great post!

  12. awesome post! I wanted to tell you about Chanel vitalumiere aqua. I bought this over the weekend and love it. The thing is that based on your posts, you have oily skin. Mine is dry. Definitely try it out before You're buying it. :) Always love reading your blog :)

  13. I bought the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel last year and after 3 days of loving it, I had a major rash from it. Tiny little bumps all over the places I put the cream bronzer. Had to return it. =( Hope it works for you. I have the Chanel powder on my list too. Have you heard about Chanel Rouge Coco Shine? It's launching in March. I'm going to try it out.

  14. i need the chanel loose powder xxxx

  15. Hi Sandra - love your list - I have a long one too, because I'm using up a lot of things - especially my lipglosses. After I'm done, I'm going to focus on Dior and Lip Fusion plumping glosses.

I tagged your blog for an "8 most worn" post - would love to read your answers:

  16. Cute Blog! Check out mine if you get a chance :)

  17. Kinda off topic but if you want to get the Clarins Lip Perfector, see if you can get a hold of the MotherRisk charity ones at SDM... great cause for Sick Kids Hospital (

Besides that cicaplast is my favvv product. Absolute must for dry & sensitive skin. My fav time to use it is on any burns or sunburns. It helps so much in promoting skin regeneration and preventing scars.

  18. Just wanted to say I had the same problem with getting a colour match for the double wear foundation! If you go to the Bay though they'll give you a 10 day sample that you can try and home and make sure it's the right shade. I think I tried like 5 shades before I found my right colour, but I LOVE the foundation!Good luck!

  19. LOVE! I work for Chanel and as soon as I touched my finger to that magical foundation, I was hooked! A lot of my clients love it and are replacing it with the vita lumiere thats going bye bye, Also , Sandra- have you tried the tan de chanel solid bronzer (kinda like a balm) its pretty as well
