Eyes of March continued...

Geez, I've sure picked a great month for this eyeshadow challenge (not)... I've been wearing less eye makeup than ever and opting for a more minimalistic approach.

This either means that I am going to need to do some eyeshadow drawer clean-up or that I've been a big hermit... or a bit of both. I can't really be bothered to put eye makeup on if I'm studying at home or taking notes in class all day.

Anyway, I did manage to a quick eyeshadow look yesterday - and here is the outcome:

Starting off with the face make-up, I used a blush I hadn't touched in a while, NARS Mounia, and added a bit of MAC Trace Gold blush just as a highlight at the top of the cheeks.
On the lips I chose one of my old favourites, MAC Big Kiss plushglass.

On the eyes I stuck to two eyeshadows, like usual.

Urban Decay Primer Potion (as a base)
MAC All That Glitters eyeshadow (all over lid)
MAC Print eyeshadow (winged out in the outer corner with a MAC 226 brush)
MAC Feline eyeliner
Diorshow Extase mascara

I really need to use more grey eyeshadows in the future, I love how print looked in the outer corner and I imagine it would look great all over the lid as well with some lighter silver in the inner corner and a smoked out black liner!
Next time I go out, I will do that look and report back :)

Are you into grey eyeshadows? What are your favourites?

  17. I love this look so much, I love all your FOTDs actually, but after seeing this one, I had to go and get all that glitters and print. I actually tried this look today and really like it. I really like the black linear on the bottom lash line. Just a beautiful look! Really love your blog!!
