Today's eyes... remembering MAC Antiqued

Continuing with the eyeshadow challenge of March, today I decided to use another one of my long forgotten eyeshadows - Antiqued.

I love the colour but always had a bit of a hard time matching it up with things. It seems to work amazingly on the lower lash line but finding a suitable eyelid combination can be a bit tricky so I just usually never bother.

MAC Antiqued eyeshadow on the lower lash line

MAC Rubenesque paint pot (all over the lid)
MAC Texture eyeshadow (in the crease)
MAC Antiqued eyeshadow (outer corner and lower lash line)
Milani Liquif'eye eyeliner
Diorshow Extase mascara

Do you own Antiqued eyeshadow? What do you combine it with? I like the way this turned out and if you have blue eyes I recommend this combination because it would make you eye colour stand out like whoa!

Recommendations on ways to wear Antiqued are very welcome - especially from my fellow brown eyed girls :)

  2. I can totally help you out with this one! I have brown eyes too and I LOVE Antiqued! I like to pair it with MAC Era on the lid and Antiqued in the crease. I noticed you don't usually take your eyeshadow too far past your crease so this might not be your cup of tea, but if it is, you can see my fotd with it on here http://tiny.cc/nardc I'm definitely not trying to spam your blog with my link, but I thought it might be helpful in this case!

  3. I don't have antiqued but I do have glamour check! a starflash shadow which is similar in coloring.

I pair it over a white base to make it stand out, and working in a deep brown in the outer -v. Its a smokey eye but I'm much darker than you so it can be day time appropriate.

Try pairing it with coppering as well. Lovely color combo

  4. What I think looks really pretty is All That Glitters on the lid and Antiqued in the crease or outer corner.
