Attack of the mini skincare items: the sequel

I recently decided to spend 500 beauty insider points from Sephora because at last they had something I actually wanted to try: a set of deluxe samples by Boscia.

Always was keen on trying this line, and this little packet is great - it contains a generous portion of their cooling cleansing oil, a light daytime moisturizer with SPF15, a skin perfecting primer, oil blotting sheets and an eye cream.

I already know that I am repurchasing both the blotting sheets and the cleansing oil (so good for night time - in the winter I use my Cetaphil lotion to massage my skin and melt makeup off before I rinse and cleanse, but this cooling cleansing oil by Boscia is an ideal option for summer since it's much lighter).
I haven't tried anything else yet but new skincare gets me excited and I have a positive impression of the brand thus far.

Have you tried anything by Boscia?

I feel like my skin has really changed lately and I can now try to focus on improving the overall luminosity and texture of my skin rather than all the acne treatments I was trying before since I have finally managed to keep my acne at bay (La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo still remains my weapon for when those pesky bumps reappear).

  1. sounds amazing. can't wait to hear more. thanks for another inspired post. if you get a free second stop by and check out my latest fash recap and the must have bag designed by one of LA's hottest stylist. xoxo

  2. i used my 500 point on this set as well, the moisturizer and the eye cream are ok, i didnt feel they are soo misturizering but the blotting sheets and the cleansing oil are the real deal, enjoy them.

  3. I got this little set too with my points. I agree with what noga said, the moisturizer and eye cream aren't that great, not moisturizing enough for me (but may be good for someone with oily skin). Absolutely love the cleansing oil and the blotting sheets though, already purchased the full size of the cleansing oil :) Not really sure how I feel about the primer, I've only used it a couple times.

  4. Boscia is currently my favorite skincare brand! I use their cleanser (cream cleanser and purifying cleansing gel), the amino eye treatment, black mask, and blotting linens.

  5. do you like the boscia cleansing oil more than the shu uemura one? or the mac? i prefer oil based cleansers for eye makeup removal and ive been wanting to try this brand out.

  6. @kellyyes

I have never tried the Shu Uemura one because I've never had access to it and it was way too expensive for my liking... but I do like the Boscia better than the MAC one, which I used to use for almost 2 years.
It's lighter and has a fresher scent than the MAC.

  7. I have never tried might be time!

  8. I love Boscia. I currently use the blotting sheetS! those are amazing! The day time moisturizer doesnt do much for me. but the night time one is amazing! And i also use the toner.. I want to pick up the makeup remover! I love that this line is natural, it really makes a difference on my skin.

  9. the boscia black luminizing mask is amazing! it looks insane when it's on, but when you peel it off you can actually see the dead skin and impurities that it has removed, and your face feels incredibly soft and smooth. their soothing cleansing cream is also really nice and is what i use in the winter for makeup removal, it's very nourishing.

  10. i'm actually not a big fan of the brand, i used it for a while a few years ago and i didn't think it did anything special for the price i paid for it. but let me know if you like it, the only thing i remember liking was the cleansing oil. :)

  11. @ Ke that's the only thing I like too... the oil and the blotting sheets haha :)
