IN & OUT (Easter Edition)

- long weekend spent with family, really looking forward to not doing anything at all except for eating lamb and easter eggs and potato salad :)

- the little REN skincare starter kit I bought from Sephora (the blemish treatment kit) is quite nice, I used all the products today and so far no complaints! I'm still loving the La Roche Possay Effaclar Duo acne treatment but knock on wood I haven't had any new blemishes in over a month so I don't need to repurchase it just yet.

- The Only Way Is Essex. This TV show makes me so happy. I watch it online - the episodes are often posted on YouTube the day after the show airs in the UK. It's hilarious. Joey Essex is the best thing to happen to that show, him and his little white Smart car.

- My Stuart Weitzman ankle boots arrived in the mail last week and I've been in love with them since. They make the cold weather we're having easier to bear since it means I get to wear them out more often haha...

- perfume. I'm a junkie. I'm excited to smell the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino range of body products... the products and the campaign photos look so good already

- November weather. It's almost May, I want sunshine NOW.

- ran out of St. Tropez... must restock!

- dry and dull hair, any recommendations for a good repair treatment?

- falling in love with this Alexis Bittar necklace only to find out it's almost $350 and way out of my reach at the moment

- Gossip Girl. I was so excited for this to come back after the 6 week break only to be disappointed to the max. Chuck still sounds like a whispery old man, Serena still has the IQ of a hamster, and what the hell is the purpose of Vanessa in this show other than to be a big buzzkill at all times? *groan*

That's about it for me today, hope you all have a fantastic weekend and Happy Easter if you're celebrating :)

  1. Haha! I'm sure everyone agrees on how annoying Vanessa is on the show. That perfume looks so good! Happy Easter x

  2. 1. when you said iq of a hamster, i started cracking up!(: haha

    2. Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque makes your hair super soft and full of life. Its like $23 at

  3. try morroccan oil restorative hair mask(the one with the orange lid). I've just started to use it and its great!!

  4. I´m in total agreement with the general Vanessa complain!! What is she even doing there!!??!

For a shock-treatment I use pure coconut oil. You can find it in any food store and it is a solid consistency, but when you warm it up with the heat of your hands it becomes oil. I usually leave it in my hair overnight and then wash it normally in the morning. Best thing ever!!!

  5. The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is a must have for dry hair!

  6. The perfume add is making me feel that it's going to be a fresh scent, therefore not my style:P I condition my hair with EVOO...and let it as an overnight treatment. xoox

  7. HAHAHAHA @ Serena having the IQ of a hamster! So true!

I'm doing the same thing with my leather booties - enjoying them while it lasts.

  8. Love TOWIE! I feel like I'm loosing brain cells everytime I watch it, but the cultural factor is not to be ignored. The things you learn! Reem, jeal, vajazzling...I could go on and on

  9. try Macadamia Masque, it's very good. ohh don't get me started on gossip girl, trailers look much more exciting than the real show. I totally agree with you on Venessa thing but I think when they ran out of evil they bring her back ;) I think the next episode would be even worse :(
    Happy Easter :)

  10. Hi Sandra! I use L'Occitane's Shine Mask. It smells wonderful and makes my hair super shiny and soft.

  11. Have you tried Moroccan Oil? I can't get enough of it on my dry ends at the moment.

And thumbs up for Serena the hampster!

  12. I really recommend the Redken All soft products. I have blond hair that felt very dry after winter, and the heavy cream conditioner has made HUGE difference. Hair feels moisturized, soft and full of energy.

here's a link to redkens page to get a pucture:

I also use the shamppoo and normal conditioner and cant stop loving my hair :))

  13. OMG-GG was quite a let down! BUT [don't judge me :)] Chuck can do no wrong in my eyes-even if he does act 20 years older than he is and I love the whispering voice!! hehe :)
But COME ON what is it with Chuck and Blair's timing? Now she's ready then within the hour episode she's not again? AARRGGG!
And Serena-don't even get me started! She is boring me...yawn! Along with Nate...he's been boring since Day 1. He needs a good and juicy storyline and quick!
And Vanessa-agree she is annoying. I mean what happened to her???
    OK-GG rant over!!!!

    Have a great weekend!

  14. Yumm, lamb eggs and potato salad :)!

    Paste Fericit Sandra!

  15. I googled "The Only Way Is Essex" after you mentioned it and it sounds like it's definitely up my alley. Thanks for mentioning it!

  16. I remember when Serena was one of the most interesting characters, she and Blair were so much fun together! Good old times I guess haha
BTW, I just came across you blog and now you are the first blogger I ever commented since just today I started my own blog, so feel special :)
    xo Malin

  17. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle... it's the only thing that's worked for me :)

  18. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle is surprisingly amazing... however- I got it in the states on my last trip. It's totally worth the search though- and it's ONLY $3-ish!!!

  19. Oh, and I agree w/ Miku too- AllSoft is a HG of mine.
