Face of the day - late summer afternoon

A lazy day, finished off with late dinner on a patio catching up with a friend... I love summer!
I've been obsessed with this highlighter green/yellow romper from Diesel, intensifies any tan x 10.
I paired it with a loose grey vest, some H&M sunglasses and called it a day!

This post, however, is focused on the make-up. I picked up three forgotten MAC Eyeshadows from my palette and was inspired by this Lisa Eldridge tutorial to "raise" the crease a bit and pair it with a liquid liner. I didn't go dramatic with the liner because it was quite a casual outing, but I am keen on trying that look in the near future, watch this space :)

The three eyeshadows I used (by MAC) were: Nylon all over the lid, and a mixture of Texture and Swiss Chocolate in the crease. I used two brushes to achieve this: the MAC 217 and the 224.
Eyeliner was MAC Superslick liner, mascara was Prestige's My Blackest Lashes.

On the rest of the face I wore Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk mixed with MUFE HD (to get a right colour match. NARS Laguna bronzer, NARS Deep Throat blush, MAC Creme D'Nude lipstick and a touch of Smashbox Afterglow lipgloss.

I love getting inspired by different tutorials and FOTD posts!

Hope your day is wonderful.

  13. It looks great. I love doing this look with MAC retrospect all over the lid and tempting on the crease. They look great together even with both being lusters. :)
