Inseparable

I've been sporting these items steadily over the past few days (some for even longer) and I figured that warrants a blog post.

Sunglasses from H&M,
watch by Michael Kors,
necklace by House of Harlow,
Smashbox "Afterglow" lipgloss
and MAC "Blonde's Gold" pigment.

The pigment is a summer staple and it does what I wished the famous MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow would do:

Sadly Woodwinked would always get an orange tinge when I applied it, which wasn't flattering at all. Blonde's Gold is a soft, cool-toned gold.
I bought it when it came out in a limited edition collection, but it is now a Pro item so it can be purchased through MAC Pro.

  3. I get the same orange tint from Woodwinked. It was by far the biggest disappointed in a MAC shadow. I need to get my hands on that pigment! It's gorgeous! There's not a MAC Pro anywhere near me :(( Great post though! I love the watch!

  4. I love your sunglasses, necklace, and of course the MK watch. So gorgeous!

Also, ITA with Woodwinked. It does have a slight orange undertone! On me, anyway.

  5. I think I'm going to get a Michael Kors rose gold watch for my birthday next month, I've been eyeing them for like a year, I think it's time to splurge :)

Regarding woodwinked, there's a little trick: put a colored base underneath and bye bye orange! Works with purple, brown, gold, black... any base you want.

  6. I rarely reach for my pigments, I just find it too hard work on an everyday basis. But it was a beautiful color indeed!

  8. I love Blonde's Gold. Woodwinked only looks good on me if I'm tanned but I also get the orange tinge. I think it's because my skin has so much yellow that it turns it orange because I find that if I use a more pink primer, it looks better.
