2 Things

Aside from the questionable weather (13 degrees Celsius, sometimes 21 if I'm lucky), I'm having a lovely time visiting my hometown and I've been to some lovely silver jewelry boutiques.

So far I've picked up a few pieces that caught my eye, they remind me a little of Robert Lee Morris and his style of jewelry.

I got a bold rectangular piece, a simple X shaped one, and a curved doubled ring.

I've really been drawn to silver rings lately, which is a change since the past year I was more into golds... might be due to my new nail polish obsession, OPI Cajun Shrimp, which looks so lovely against silver :)

It's similar to my beloved Essie Lollipop, but in natural light it definitely looks more orange and is a more "zesty" shade, which is perfect for this season!

Hope your weekend was wonderful, and happy 4th of July to my American readers!

xoxo

  2. I love getting jewelry off the street market! The coolest piece I've found was a spoon ring I picked up last summer. I wear it non-stop. It's literally a spoon made into a ring, it's so creative and out there, I love it :)

  10. Love these rings - and the fact that you will never see anyone else with them. So unique. Also the polish looks fantastic...I still need to get round to trying Essie's Lollipop. I remember you always raving about it :)

    @Ansa it's on my toes right now too!!

    @Mercedes thank you!

    @BunnyDays I tried to tell myself I didn't need it but when I saw it on that stand, it just captivated me... I have developed a full-on bright coral/red polish obsession

    @Laura if you are a fan of bright reds (I seem to be having a love affair with them this summer), you must try it, such great application too... it's a "good" Essie :)
