Fall Wishin'

I think I can safely say that summer is now over *tear*... but hey, at least I've got fall fashion keeping me warm. I'm obsessing over bold necklaces, rings, bracelets and rose gold anything as well as dreaming of the perfect pair of riding boots - two toned, if possible.

Here are some things I've got my eye on for this season...
Noir
This amazing bracelet by Noir (amongst others) has been sold out for MONTHS and I probably will never get to it but if I find something similar I'll be happy. Would look so beautiful with a watch and other bracelets, or by itself wearing a very simple yet feminine black shift dress to "toughen it up" a bit.

Alexander Wang
The alternative to the structured shift dresses I love so much would be something like this. I love the slouchy silhouette, it's relaxed and sexy. Could be worn with a black camisole and thick opaque black tights and boots for daytime, or with bold platform ankle boots (my favourite kind) and some dangling earrings for evening.

HRH Collection
I'm also thinking of getting this soon. Alex makes some beautiful jewelry and I think the "Cuff" necklace will be my first buy.

Last but not least, riding boots. This year my heart has been set on these two-toned ones. Initially I wanted some light brown/camel boots but these seem to be even better! One is slightly more painful for the wallet than the other, but both pairs are adorable and I'm keeping an eye out in the stores for either of them. Sadly I can't ever buy boots online because most end up being too wide in the calf area.

Stuart Weitzman
Juicy Couture
I'm also on the fence with rain boots... I think I need them (it's been raining for the past week and I keep hopping over puddles in my sneakers) but don't feel like splurging. I know Aigle and Hunter do some nice rubber rain boots that LOOK like the two-toned leather riding boots above but have any of you owned them? Is it worth dropping $150 on rubber boots?
What about Hunter rain boots in general? Worth the hype or not? I really need to make my mind up on this issue ASAP before my feet soak haha

Hope you had a great day!

  2. I love those riding boots and the HRH collection in general haha. I have worn Hunter wellies/rain boots for years due to having horses and they are fantastic :) I think that they are well worth the money. They have lasted me for ages, and they do take a battering, between muddy paddocks and also my horse standing on my feet (ouch!). The only time I never wore them around my horse was when we were in the arena training or competing. So really I love them haha. x

  3. Wow, that studded bracelet is amazing!

I just featured one of Alex's bracelets (the ombre) on my blog. I love her jewelry and I'm going to making a purchase soon (trying to narrow it down, haha).

  4. that alexander wang dress is gorgeous i need that! alex has amazing accessories ive bought 2 items from there i keep wanting more. rain boots are not worth it, i obsessed over getting the green hunter boots because of the olsen twins and thought its fit for toronto weather but its uncomfortable and i didn't put much outfits together with it as much as i thought i would, i wish i bought a cheap alternative just for the rain purpose :(

  5. i've been wanting the cuff necklace too! ever since i saw michele1218 and hollyannaeree wear it. and i have the same problem with boots. i've been wanting a pair of tall boots for a while, but my legs look silly in almost every pair because my calves are too small!

  7. Sandra! Those boots won't do anything in the rain if they don't have rubber soles. I went for Sperry Top Sider rain boots, and I love them. Super comfortable and even kept my feel warm in the snow. Try them on when you go shopping in the States. Nordstrom also price matches, so do your research!
    Good luck boot-hunting.

  8. I know how you feel about the hunter's...they are such a splurge for a kind of boring purchase...lol While I do have a pair of hunter's and I think they are great quality,if they don't excite you, go for tretorn, sperry, or kamika...all great alternatives!

  11. I have some black Hunter boots that I bought like a year ago. I love them and living in Norway I definetely get a good use out of them ;) Only thing I would say it that mine changed color quickly. They almost turned grey, I googled it and seem to be a common problem, so keep that in mind! To get more use of them I bought Hunter fleece socks that fit in the boots so I can wear them in cold weather as well!
