Not sure about you, but I am a big fan of these "Polyvore" type posts. I like to see what some of my favourite bloggers are looking at and how they would pair it together.
So today I decided to combine a little list of some items I've been keeping my eye on online - one of which I haven't been able to spot in stores just yet - and I wanted to show you... maybe it contains some items you've been looking for as well :)
1. H&M fake leather leggings. Sadly these aren't available online but they are in the current H&M collection. I've seen a couple of ladies on YouTube feature these in their hauls and while I haven't seen them pop up in my local H&M (which is so poorly stocked it makes me wanna cry, but that's another story) but if I do I will most definitely be trying them on or purchasing. I love the paneling on the side.
2. Joseph mohair color-block sweater. Currently available and on sale here. There's just something special about a fine knit sweater. This one is classic yet not dull or boring. Me likey.
3. Aigle Ecuyer boots. Can be found online at JCrew here and they currently have a 30% off and free shipping promotion. If I told you how many times I've had these things in my shopping cart you'd laugh at me. All it takes is another week of non stop rain and I'm pushing the "check out" button. Aigle is a French company that specializes in equestrian-style rubber boots. I like the fact that they look much more refined than Hunter boots. They use natural rubber and are made in France. There is a cool video on YouTube featuring their manufacturing process, too! Might be info you don't care about but I personally like knowing little stories about a company's history, I like to know what's behind the products I buy, if I can.
4. Pendant necklace, Forever 21, currently in stock (link). Has a "house of harlow" feel to it for about a fraction of the price. Forever 21 remains one of my favourite places for little trendy jewelry cravings.
5. Mulberry Lily bag. I am having a moment with these - I keep admiring them online and I haven't seen many people with them which makes me like them even more. They are the perfect piece that you can wear day or night with anything from leggings and a sweater (like I have them featured here) to a cocktail dress.

I wanted those black pants from H&M as well, but the province I live in doesnt even have an H&M store sadly! I ended up ordering a pair last week off of asos! you should check them out! http://www.asos.com//Vero-Moda/Vero-Moda-High-Shine-Legging/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=1791762
ReplyDeleteLove those H&M leggings! Think I may head out to my local store to try and find them.
ReplyDeleteThose leather pants look amazing. Are they from the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo Collection? I really enjoy these types of posts
ReplyDeleteLove the Mulberry bag and those boots are pretty amazing, they would be such a useful thing to have in my wardrobe!

Omg! I have been completely obsessed by those tights! I saw them and passed them up the first time thinking I would never use them. But the leather trend grew on me and when I went back to get them they were sold out both in the store and online! I considered drriving 2 hours to another H&M, haha! I was so sad and gave up on them. But lucky me, I found one pair in my size in the store a few weeks later! I think they are perfect because of the price and because the panels on the sides tone down the leather factor just enough to be more wearable!
ReplyDeleteLOVE them!!!:)

Love the Mulberry bag!
ReplyDeleteI have the same necklace from forever21 which I've been wearing a lot. I have a couple of house of harlow pieces and the reason why I got it was because it reminded me of it. We have a lot of the same taste. I just started a blog. Check it out. http://makeupyourfashion.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteJust realized I have those H&M pants too but I haven't gotten a chance to hem them yet since they are too long for me.
ReplyDeletelove those faux leather leggings! I don't know what i'd do without leggings.. they are so comfortable and versatile!
ReplyDeleteOk need those leggings. Guess I'll be dealing with holiday mall chaos for those babies. It'll be worth it.
ReplyDeleteI have a lilly bag ! and in the same color you pictured :) but i have to warn you, the leather is very prone to water stains,so you can absolutely not wear these out in a drizzle, or to go out as it would be ruined if you spill even a drop of your drink on it.. This has made me very neurotic when I wear it, but it is still incredibly beautiful !!
ReplyDeleteVery nice your blog! Go to visit at my blog if you want =)

Have you tried Blondo boots (available at Nordstrom)? They make waterproof leather boots that are very chic and just slightly more expensive than the Aigle boots. I have yet to try mine in the rain, but they are super comfy.
ReplyDeleteLove the leggings, your blog is amazing :)

Very cool collage, I really like Polyvore posts! I also love that Mulberry bag! I was just at the Mulberry shop in SoHo and I fell in love with way too many of the purses. The shop itself was very cool as well.
ReplyDeleteThose black H&M pants are sold out almost immediately when they came in... So unfotunate... Love your list though!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great, I’d love for you to one day stop by my blog, read my posts and maybe even comment. You’d make my day with doing that!
On my blog I have did a few days ago a post on some brands (like H&M and Zara) copycatting from huge brands. Is this ok or are H&M and Zara going too far? I’d love to hear your opinion about it!
Hope to hear soon from you, until then… Merry Christmas!
