First of all, I would like to wish you all a very happy new year. Thank you for making 2012 so much more fun and exciting for me by being a part of this wonderful makeup community.
With it now being full-on winter and with my skin actually feeling NORMAL and BALANCED (cue the angels singing - and check out my most recent blog post here on the products I hold responsible for this small miracle haha) I can actually forget about oil control for a split second and use my favourite highlighter EVER... Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, along with the Dior Rosy Glow blush that I've been obsessing over for the past few weeks.
It's more of a "spring" makeup look now that I think of it but hey... with all the Spring makeup collections being released in the coming weeks, I suppose it's not so out of place after all.
I hope you enjoy the look (I am sporting it in my recent YouTube video as well) and as always let me know what products you have been loving as of late.

Giorgio Armani Master Corrector - shade 01

Hi Sandra! This is my first comment on your blog, but I've been lurking for about a month. I love your natural but polished makeup looks. I wore quite a similar look to yours today, kind of all-Burberry: Eyeshadow in trench, Rosewood and Mindight Brown, Blush in Blossom, and Lipstick in feather Pink. Some Nars Via Appia eye pencil, Volumising mascara, ready to go, pink and springy :).

The Dior blush looks lovely on you! I was eyeing it up a few weeks ago but decided against it. I'm going to put it on my wishlist and wait until my attempts at a frugal January are over.

Hi Sandra. I remember awhile ago you were talking about a product called 'Brazilian Peel'. I was wondering if you'd recommend the product? Many thanks!
ReplyDeletehi Elizabeth! it was really cool and I got great results. i'd definitely recommend it to kickstart a good exfoliation of the skin.
DeleteWhen I see you posted a kinda 'get ready with me' it always makes my day, you're just so beautiful to look at, I love your style in makeup and you choose the best music. Does the YSL mascara have a heavy consistency that weighs lashes down or it holds the curl nicely?
ReplyDeletethe YSL does get clumpy and heavy easily, but if you wipe the mascara wand off before applying, you get a nice application. holds curl very well.
Deletewe have very similar skin types (oily skin few, ha.) I've had really good luck with sibu products as well. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for a good concealer for the face to conceal redness around the nose mainly.
ReplyDeletei'm a huge fan of the laura mercier secret camouflage concealer. perfect on oily skin
