Beauty Wishlist

Neiman Marcus has a Beauty Gift With Purchase event going on until June 9 (free beach tote and samples with any $85 purchase) so naturally I have got the pen and paper ready, making a little virtual wishlist before I click the "check-out" button.

1. Tom Ford Brow Sculptor
Everyone seems to be raving about this and I want to join the club. I have chosen the shade "taupe" since my Makeup Forever Aqua Lash in "ash" has a tad too much warmth.

The slightly fresher, floral sister of the original Prada Candy fragrance. This was released in Europe earlier this year and is now slowly rolling out into N. America, with Neiman Marcus getting exclusive rights to carry it for now. I got to sample it while I was in Romania last month and I was obsessed. This smells freaking amazing... it's got the same warm gourmand caramel base as the original but with opening notes of Italian citrus (my favourite).

Slowly diminishing my supply of skincare containing Vitamin C and this looks really promising. A gentle exfoliating toner rich in antioxidants and salicylic acid to help keep a clear complexion.

Not the largest of wishlists but one that needs to be purchased, nonetheless :)

What has been on your "to buy" list?

  1. I'm lusting over the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor too, but it's a little expensive for what it is, so I think i'm going to give the Anastasia Brow Wiz a go first!

And I'm craving some bright lip-pencil type products but don't know whether to go for Clinique, NARS or Urban Decay! Suggestion?

    1. you're right, the brow sculptor is a bit extremely priced. let me know how you like the anastasia, her brow stuff hasn't disappointed me yet!!
as for lip products, you really can't go wrong with NARS... they have glossy, satin and matte formulas and the shade selection is by far the best. Yu satin lip pencil is a gorgeous pink, and Red Square matte velvet lip pencil is an amazing prangey red

  7. Have you tried the 'Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil' by Hourglass. It does a great job!

  8. BTW the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor is quite similar to the Hourglass one. But the Hourglass only cost 37$ at Sephora.

  9. My wishlist right now consists of Burberry midnight brown e/s, YSL rouge volupte #01 and #30, and milani baked blushes (a cheap thrill I really need to get my hands on!)

  10. I bought the TF Brow Sculptor over Christmas while in the US and I like it, but I don't LOVE it. it is very natural looking, but can almost be too light. the application is not as fine as a mac or anistasia brow pencil. I do use this, but not as often as the anistasia brow wiz in medium ash. It is also rediculosly expensive. Hourglass makes a similar product for a little bit cheaper. Hope this helps!

    1. haha I'm not! I meant that I am almost out of my vitamin C day cream so trying it in a toner might be nice :)
