What camera do you use?
I use a Canon EOS 450D DSLR camera for almost all of my photos - except photos from 2009 and early 2010 prior to me buying the camera. Some photos are shot with my iPhone and edited with Instagram and Diptic - two of my favourite photography apps.
Where in Canada are you from?
Ontario. I live in the southern part of Canada bordering with the United States.
How did you start getting into makeup?
I started getting into makeup out of necessity. I suffered from pretty bad acne in my teens - it's lasted well into my 20's and still likes to rear its ugly head here and there.
I took my first trip out to the Clinique and MAC counters at the age of 16. I slowly started educating myself on makeup and skincare and I loved trying new things. In 2008 I discovered the makeup community online and became fascinated by it. I learned so much by watching and reading the tips of other women and of professionals that a year later I decided to share my own ideas and tips with the world :)
Where were you born?
I was born and raised in Romania up until I was 12, then my parents and I moved to Canada. Most of my family still resides in Europe so I try to go and visit every summer.
What do you do for a living?
Currently I am a full time student, I also work in the health care industry.
Why "15 steps, then a beauty blog"?

Hi, Hilda! Thank you so much for reading my blog :) my blog name is inspired by one of my favourite songs, called "15 Step", by Radiohead. I made my blog the summer that I saw them in concert for the first time and that song just made me so happy so I wanted to incorporate it in my blog title. It doesn't make much sense but it means something special to me.
DeleteI always thought it might be named after the Radiohead song and kept thinking naaaah, that's too good to be true. I love it so much now that I know!
